2011年第19届美国控制杂志读者选择奖结果出炉。其中HMI组态和人机界面方面的结果为：

　　本人今年上大学 想选自动化专业......估计我的分数可以上211里的学校 但不是最好的学校 看到专业的介绍发现自动化主要是信号与测试 计算机控制 仿真技术 学的方面比较全 所以我打算本科毕业后在主攻某一最擅长的方面 

　　但我不知道自动化比较侧重哪一方面 专业课里有编程 电路 接口技术 但这个学习的深度足够我以后进行it方面的工作（比如说软件编写）或者考研时比较轻松地考计算机专业吗？
　　
　　剩下的课程主要是自动控制和电路基础了 如果最后主攻这个那么以后可以进行什么样的工作呢？ 某些设备的研发工作？我比较喜欢在大公司里比较自由有创造力的那类工作 不知这个专业以后的工作符不符合要求？ 或者是这些工作是类似蓝领的比较辛苦的工作？ 比如设计机械之类的？
　　
　　最后的问题 是不是本科在清华上学与在普通的有自动化的大学上学差不了多少？ 教的都一样的吧？ 还是此专业很看重教课的质量？要去好的大学才可以？

Answers：

　　1，一般说自动化是强弱电结合，软硬件结合......给人大杂烩的感觉。不同的学校有不同方向和侧重，不同的人不同的爱好与侧重。
　　
　　2，有的学校的自动化在计算机学院，和数学在一起；有的是在电气信息类学院，和电气或电子专业在一起；当然有的学校自动化是独立院系，你可以看看各学校专业所在的院系大概判断出他们的侧重。
　　
　　3，自动化专业所学的专业课，可以帮助你考很多工科类专业，更不用说相近的计算机类专业了。但你认准了要追求软件编写的深度，为何不直接去读计算机专业呢？你喜欢什么就去学什么，如果你摸不着方向，读自动化很合适，在学习中找自己的侧重方向。
　　
　　4，自动化要学很多软件编程——C或C++、汇编、Windows编程、PLC梯形图或功能块编程、组态语言（宏或类C）、Matlab语言......除了前面的，后面的应该都是计算机专业不学的，这些更多是和电子技术、控制器件（硬件）结合的语言，应用很广，一些语言与C类似。很多语言是生产控制器件或软件的厂家而定的。
　　
　　5，自动控制和电路基础——纯理论性课程，并不直接指向任何就业方向。很多工科专业都要学这两门。
　　自动化专业没有独立的对口行业，因为它可以应用在很多行业，是和其他行业结合在一起才有意义的专业。
　　它最对口的就业方向是去系统集成商那里做自动化工程。比如海得控制、金自天正、宝信软件这样的上市公司，做各式各样工厂、建筑、交通等大大小小系统里的生产线、设备的电脑电气通信控制部分。跑工程现场会有些辛苦。
　　当然也有和利时、西门子这些软硬件与工程通吃的公司，也有研华、Wonderware这样侧重于某一方面的纯软硬件供应商。
　　设备研发，硬件方面你不如电子专，软件方面你不如计算机专，但反过来说你都通吃，正好融会贯通。

在某热轧带钢线组态画面中，鼠标滑过某个对象时会浮现出其在PLC中的OPC变量地址，方便工程师查找程序。

在工控论坛上看到一篇《如何在 InTouch 中实现操作提示框 (Tip) 功能》的文章，其使用函数的方法让我如坠云雾直犯晕，后来看到跟帖里说Intouch 9.5里已添加了这个个功能，查阅用户指南一时不可得。

无线——技术进步而非完全取代

There was a time when pneumatics technicians said, “I’ll never allow those 4-20 mA to run in this plant.”
曾经有段时间，气动技术员说：“我决不允许这些4-20mA信号在这家工厂运行。”

There was a time when analog instrumentation people said, “We’ll never run that digital stuff on these wires.”
又曾几何时，模拟仪器员说：“我们绝不能在电缆接线上传送数字东西。”

Now, and despite the promise from the ISA100 developers the new wireless standard will ensure that automation wireless signaling will be more reliable than hardwire digital transmission, the same refrain echoes. There’s still distrust for the technology.
